Women are routinely debauched and devalued in the North-East India. The way forward is to revoke the Armed Forces(Special Powers) Act and save them from being trashed as spoils of a war or mere collaterals of a counter insurgency.

Our counter-terrorism strategy is based on creating counter terror,and brutalizing women is part of it;we need to change the strategy itself,towards talks and more talks,and only due process in dealing with violence.
